Private, Semi Private and Group Classes for Babies, Kids, and Adults

Adult Lessons

Adult lessons are designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re a complete beginner who can barely float, someone who had a difficult experience in the water growing up, or you simply never had the chance to learn, I take a calm, supportive approach to help you build confidence step by step.

For more experienced swimmers, lessons can focus on preparing for an event like a triathlon, improving endurance, or refining technique across strokes. Whatever your starting point or goal, sessions are tailored to you, with clear progression and plenty of individual feedback along the way.

Kids Learn to Swim 4+

From around age 4, children are ready to be in the water without a parent and begin developing more independent swimming skills. At this stage, the focus shifts toward learning how to swim with strong, efficient technique while continuing to build confidence and water safety. Lessons emphasize proper body position, breathing, and the foundations of each stroke, helping children develop good habits from the start.

Because every child learns differently, lessons are tailored to their individual needs—whether that’s gaining confidence, refining coordination, or building consistent technique. The goal is to create comfortable, capable swimmers with skills that support a lifelong relationship with the water.

Preschool / Parent

Ages 3-4 years

At this age, parents remain in the water as children take gentle steps toward independent swimming. Having a parent nearby provides comfort and security, helping children build confidence and learn to trust both the instructor and the environment.

Together, we focus on foundational skills such as safe entries and exits, finding the wall, assisted floating, kicking, and early breath control—all through simple, playful activities. The goal is to help your child feel comfortable participating more independently, so they’re ready to transition smoothly into lessons on their own.

Aquababy

Aquababy parent-and-baby classes are designed for you to be in the water with your child, learning how to confidently support their early swim journey.

You'll be guided through age-appropriate techniques that help your little one build water confidence, develop early independence, and establish the foundation for a lifelong love of swimming.

Early water experiences play a vital role in shaping a child’s long-term relationship with water. Ensuring these first interactions are positive, gentle, and trauma-free is essential as babies begin developing key foundational skills in swimming, water safety, and self-assurance in aquatic environments.
